The bookstore "Tsiolkovsky", forced to move out of the Polytechnical Museum during its reconstruction, found a temporary room. As co-founder of the store Maxim Surkov told Life around, on December 1, Tsiolkovsky will open at 18/5 Bolshaya Molchanovka, building 1, not far from the Moscow Book House.
According to Maxim Surkov, the store will operate in the premises on Bolshaya Molchanovka until 2018, when the restoration of the Polytechnic Museum is completed. “We rented a basement, but with high ceilings and large windows. The basement is very well repaired. True, it is a little smaller than our site at the Polytechnic, but it’s better located,” says the co-founder of Tsiolkovsky.
At the old address, the store will be open until November 30, and on December 1 it will open on Bolshaya Molchanovka. Surkov did not tell in detail how the store will manage to move literally in one night, however he noted that Tsiolkovsky expects to sell most of the old products at the sale, which has already started.
“It is very important for us that the books that we have left are naturally left on the old premises by themselves. For us now this is the number one task. Therefore, we announced a big sale - we give 15% discount on a very large number of books," he said Maxim Surkov.
